PLEASE NOTE: We do not ship fruit until the New Year for several reasons:
1) The fruit is not at its peak flavor in November and December. We grow for flavor and want you
to enjoy really great tasting fruit; we simply won't pick it until it is at it's prime.
2) Many folks travel during the holiday season; none of your friends and relatives want to come home
to an uncollected box of fruit. We have found December shipping to result in too many undelivered boxes.
3) Fruit just simply tastes better AFTER the holidays when we all want to get back to good, healthy eating habits.
4) We have families too and want to enjoy the Holidays. Much of our work crew heads off on
vacation for Christmas leaving us shorthanded for the farm work during December.

HOLIDAY NOTE OPTION: For many of our mail order boxes we you choose to have us send a note card ahead of the fruit letting folks know to expect a box from us in the New Year. We will do our best to ensure holiday notes are recieved by December 25th and provide recipients with an expected shipping date.

FRIEND’S MAIL ORDER IS ONLY AVAILABLE WHEN OUR FRUIT IS AT ITS BEST,
WHICH DEPENDS ENTIRELY UPON MOTHER NATURE.

WE PICK AND SHIP OUR FRUIT EVERY MONDAY FROM MID-JANUARY THROUGH MAY
ORDERS WILL SHIP IN THE ORDER IN WHICH THEY WERE RECEIVED

Shipping:
Additional shipping costs are added at checkout. All packages are shipped UPS ground or USPS Priority mail. IN SOME CASES (VERY RURAL ADDRESSES) WE MAY NEED TO ADD ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES; in such cases we will contact you about additional costs.


Important information:

  • We reserve the right to make substitutions of equal or higher value if necessary
  • We reserve the right to delay shipment because of the vagaries of weather, government restrictions, shipping firms, etc.
  • We reserve the right to cancel orders which cannot be filled (prompt refund)
  • All items purchased in a combined payment (shopping basket) must be shipped to the same address. If you wish to ship to different addresses, please make separate purchases.
  • Please use street addresses, orders shipped to P.O. Boxes are not always received in a timely manner and we cannot guarantee freshness of such orders. All packages will ship UPS or USPS Priority Mail.
  • We cannot ship to Arizona, Hawaii, Alaska, US territories, APO or FPO addresses, prison facilities nor foreign countries.
  • Please check your orders for accuracy; we cannot be responsible for your errors, nor for delivery if you give us an incorrect address. Please check your order carefully!
  • If you are ordering for friends or family, PLEASE let them know perishables are headed their way, we don't like our fruit to linger on doorsteps.
  • If you have any changes after an order has been placed simply e-mail us and we will do our best to correct any errors. Due to the perishability of our products we cannot make changes after items have shipped.
  • Multiple/Corporate orders, Restaurant orders and Phone orders:
    If you wish to place many orders feel free to e-mail us and we can help arrange for large orders and corporate gifts.
    If you are a restaurant interested in sourcing multiple cartons of our fruit please let us know and we can arrange special pricing on weekly shipments.
    We cannot accept phone orders as we are just too busy during the tangerine season and it’s too easy to make errors. However, you can place your order on this site and then at checkout chose the payment option "I will mail check/money order" and then mail us your order including a check or money order for payment (Friend’s Ranches, Mail Order, 15150 Maricopa Hwy, Ojai, CA 93023)
